Spatial Design, Pattern, Textile

Indre gade – Bachelor project from KADK.
The focal point of the project is the work with light in relation to the architectural elements in the room. Modern architecture is often devoid of ornamentation and textile surfaces which I would like to work on improving. Based on the room’s architectural design language and the colors and shapes of the surroundings, I want to create a screen for the room. The shade brings textiles shapes and colors into an otherwise very minimalist space and at the same time has a practical function in the form of sun protection. The material used captures the sun’s rays and when night falls, parts of the screen light up. The screen changes expression depending on the time of day.
